Bringing professional leadership and communications skills as well as design experience through teamwork in visual layout and direction, I am an educator, creator, and writer capable of managing and organizing projects working with the team to create a game plan to develop appealing, fun approaches to introduce educational material.With 4 years of in-classroom experience working with instructor-led/student driven training based on student need, using blended learning both face to face and online with 8-12 grade students, I created my own curriculum based on TEKS requirements for content. In over two decades of working in adult education in professional industry and community driven projects educating and resolving problems through needs analysis I worked to meet the goals set by management or the development teams. Industries included in my experience are human resource, bronze art foundries, landscape design and implementation, community building, and the education industry.Trained in the fine arts and graphic design, I approach projects with an eye for detail and use organizational skills to design and effectively deliver the information in an attractive yet unobtrusive manner so the learner receives the information clearly. As a writer, I use analytical skills to design curriculum with clear communication methods to help the learner retain information in a succinct manner.I continually learn new programs in educational technology and learning management systems to optimize performance. Currently I work with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Google Classroom, as well as Google Suite.I am investigating Teachable, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe XD with Camtasia and Captivate next.As I understand how to work with each program, I work to create educational projects to learn how to integrate these programs to greater effect.
