Hello, I’m Kevin Zhang, a graduate student at Pratt Institute pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Analytics and Visualization. I hold a dual degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications and Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where I developed a strong foundation in creative strategy, market analysis, and storytelling through data.Professionally, I bring experience across account management, merchandising, and operations, having worked with leading luxury brands such as EssilorLuxottica and Tiffany & Co. Over the years, I’ve contributed to business-critical initiatives—from optimizing internal workflows and supply chain operations to presenting sales and performance insights to global stakeholders. Most recently, I transitioned from account management into a sales analyst role on EssilorLuxottica’s Luxury Department Store team, where I collaborate cross-functionally with planning, supply chain, and marketing to drive data-informed strategies.I also bring a strong technical foundation in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA scripting. I’ve built automated dashboards and reporting tools that streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enable clear communication of complex data. My work consistently focuses on scalable, user-friendly solutions that align with business goals.Outside of work, I’m passionate about UX design, jewelry rendering, and linguistics. I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with intermediate proficiency in Japanese, and enjoy working in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
