I have always loved television commercials.Ever since I was a child, I\'ve been fascinated by how they can make you feel so much emotion and attachment to something so quickly. In 2015, Extra Gum had a commercial that really inspired me to focus on advertising. The commercial follows the love story of Sarah and Juan through gum wrappers. I was a senior in high school at the time, and one of my teachers played it for us. I felt so many emotions during that 30 seconds and knew I wanted to be a part of that somehow. My education has been shaped by the pieces of creative content like that Extra Gum commercial. Studying public relations and marketing was a natural starting point, and I chose to minor in psychology because I have always been extremely curious about why people think the way they do and why they would pick one thing over the other. Finally, I added graphic design because I wanted to know how to visually present something to people that they really connected with. As I concluded my undergraduate education, the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and it seemed like an opportunity to complete a master\'s degree in advertising. Now that I am finalizing my degree, I am looking forward to putting all my academic and internship experience into practice as I launch my career.
