About Cloe McDowell
I am a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (Global) student at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business with a strong accounting foundation and hands-on experience in audit, analytics, and supplier evaluation. I am actively seeking full-time opportunities where I can apply data-driven thinking to solve complex business and supply chain challenges. My background in accounting has shaped the way I approach problems: analytically, systematically, and with attention to detail. Through internships in internal audit and supply chain, I have worked with large datasets, built Excel-based analytical models, evaluated supplier performance and risk, and collaborated cross-functionally to support informed decision-making. I enjoy connecting financial data, operational processes, and strategic objectives to improve efficiency and manage risk.Beyond technical skills, I bring a collaborative and accountable mindset. As a graduate teaching assistant, peer mentor, and Alpha Kappa Psi alumna, I value strong communication, mentorship, and building trust across teams. I thrive in environments that prioritize learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement.I am particularly interested in roles within supply chain analytics, operations, inventory management, risk management, or consulting, where I can leverage my accounting background while continuing to grow as a global supply chain professional. Long term, I plan to pursue CPA certification and further develop expertise at the intersection of finance and supply chain strategy.
