About Christina Maynard
Coming from Baltimore County, MD, Christina was accepted into the Fine Arts prime at the accredited magnet high school, Carver Center for the Arts & Technology. Attending from 2011-15, she gained and improved upon skills in many art forms such as digital film, film photography, illustration, design. etc. After high school, she completed two semesters at Hood College from 2015-16, where she took advanced courses in psychology and liberal arts. Missing her artistic roots, she completed a 20-month program from 2017-19 at Full Sail University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Film. She then started a freelance photography and videography company, CLM Productions, where she worked on promotional videos and photoshoots for multiple small businesses as well as multi-camera training videos, sound design, and animated graphics. She moved to Colorado and worked as a Content Creator/ Video Editor for a marketing agency, helping to plan, produce, and edit content for local businesses for a short time. She left this position to serve for Americorps- Idaho Conservation Corps or 9 weeks in the summer of 2021 where became inspired by the possibility of a career in conservation. She worked as an attendant for Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center while her main goal became travel.
