I am a writer, lecturer, PhD researcher, and activist with a rich professional background in public services, including pivotal roles in policing and children\'s social care. As the Chair of the Merseyside Alliance for Racial Equality CIC (MARE), a leading non-profit anti-racist organisation. I am dedicated to advancing racial equality across Merseyside through innovative, grassroots community-led education initiatives.In addition to my activism and academic pursuits, I serve as a Gre3n Borough Councillor for St. Gabriel’s ward, where I made history as the first Black woman to be elected to this position. I also hold the esteemed role of Deputy Mayor of Halewood Town Council. My multifaceted work continues to influence and inspire, driving meaningful change in social justice, racial equality, and community empowerment.
