ABOUT CLIVE WATKINS
Taken an exciting step to join SIP Industrial Products, charged with leading the delivery of revenue and profit growth by, identifying and driving core strategies required to achieve the goals set out by the Principal Shareholders. Led the Motivair Sales Division through a nine - year period of growth and increasingly valuable contract negotiations and business wins. Increased number of customers turning over in excess of 100k pa from 2 to 24 Delivered the Commercial element of a Business turnaround from £4m to 12.5m of profitable revenue, migrating from loss making to positive EBITDA. Negotiated a series of impressive, national, multi-site, high profile long-term maintenance driven business contracts across Facilities Management, Utilities, MOD, Transportation, Pharmaceutical sectors, Contracted business grew 400k to 4.35m pa Parachuted in to take control of the sales department of an acquired organisation that was failing to deliver under the Motivair banner. During an eighteen-month period this sector of the business has moved doubled from £2m pa with a record order book and pipeline. Secured Capital turnkey project integreateing Compressed air, N2 and Helium Generation into pipework and gas recapture systems. Recently secured 1.4m project with a 2.4m project close to signing. Managed Department P&L whilst contributing to the formulation and management of Enterprise P&L performance As a Board member of the £60m Artex Rawlplug organisation, demonstrated general management ability, contributing towards company strategy, turnover, profitability, personnel procedures, health & safety standards, operating procedures, supply chain excellence. Grew Artex Rawlplug business from 40-60m pa in 3.5 years Secured product distribution contracts that facilitated the sale of the company having had a failed sales attempt just 18 months previously.
