ABOUT CLIVE EVANS
I’m a values-led and creative CEO with over 23 years’ leadership across the charity, public and private sectors, with a style that blends strategic rigour with empathy, equity and humour.Currently Chief Executive at Sue Lambert Trust - a well-respected and fast-growing specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence and abuse in Norfolk and beyond. Under my leadership, we\'ve doubled income, increased reach by over 50%, and embedded a trauma-informed care pathway that reflects the realities of survivors\' lives. I know firsthand what it means to be let down by systems, and I’ve dedicated my career to building organisations that do better. My leadership style is emotionally intelligent, people-first and purpose-driven. I believe in making workplaces psychologically safe, in developing bold and capable teams, and in being unafraid to have hard conversations when they matter. Whether I’m navigating national funding contracts, redesigning governance, or laughing with frontline staff over coffee - I lead with integrity, clarity, and heart.Over the years I’ve:* Secured and mobilised £24m+ in Home Office contracts* Led cultural and strategic turnarounds across multiple charities* Grown services and teams to meet rising demand and unmet need* Used personal experience to challenge shame, stigma and silence* Created spaces where people, clients and staff feel seen, safe and valuedI’m a foster carer, LGBTQ+ leader, former music exec (yes, really), and someone who’s as comfortable in a strategy session as they are speaking truth to power. I believe in action, compassion, and making systems braver and kinder.Let’s have a conversation, especially if you care about survivor justice, inclusive leadership, or building better organisations from the inside out.
