ABOUT CLIVE WALKER

Originally from the American Midwest town of Highland, Illinois, Dr. Clive Walker is a career educator with over 15 years of experience in adult and child education. He is passionate about higher education, English language education, digital learning, and helping people empower themselves through education.Clive has experience with a variety of educational institutions in the United States, Asia, and Canada, including universities, adult English language schools, public and international K-12 schools, and non-profit charitable organizations. He has experience with institutions such as San Francisco State University, the University of Hong Kong, the Education Bureau of Hong Kong, The YMCA of San Francisco, Transworld Schools of San Francisco, and The Rumie Initiative in Toronto.Over his career, he has taught adult and child English language learners from all over the world and created educational programs for public, private, non-profit, and governmental institutions. He has developed digital learning resources that have been accessed by thousands of learners. Clive holds a Doctor of Education in E-learning, a Master of Education in English Language Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in English Language Education, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and an Advanced Certificate in TESOL. He holds professional certifications in U.S. University Admissions, U.S. Higher Education Support, World Literature, The Works of William Shakespeare, Design of Educational Technology, AGILE Project Management, and is a certified educator for Apple, Google, and Microsoft.In addition to his responsibilities as a professor and with Walker Higher Education, Clive writes educational articles online and serves as an editor for two publications, The University Avenue and The English Language Teaching Gazette. Clive believes that education equals empowerment and that by educating yourself, you can unlock the many possibilities of the world to you. He is committed to helping people achieve their higher education goals by drawing upon his own experience and expertise to deliver personalized counseling and create precision digital learning resources that will guide people through their paths to higher education. When Clive is not working, he enjoys exercising, writing, reading, playing the guitar, trying exotic food, globetrotting, collecting and listening to vintage cassettes, collecting rare books, and spending time with his family.
