I am one of two shift supervisors at an MBT(mechanical biological treatment) recycling plant.I have worked here at southwark since its pre -production and start up and seen its efficiency and potential advance greatly in just three years.We process between 17••••00 tonnes of black bag waste per week.Over the last three years,here at southwark we have reduced our landfill from 35% to 9.9% and seen our energy recovery increase from 43.7% to 61.3%.This mostly due to our RDF bale production and refining of our waste stream separation processes.
