I\'m an Engineering Manager working in Chime\'s Engineering Services team. Chime is a financial technology company founded on the premise that basic banking services should be helpful, easy, and free. We want to profit with our members, not from them. That’s why our model doesn’t rely on overdraft fees, monthly service fees, service fees, minimum balance requirements, and more. We partner with regional banks to design member-first financial products. This creates a more competitive market with better, lower-cost options for everyday people who aren’t being served well by traditional banks. We help drive innovation, inclusion, and access across the industry.I joined Chime for two reasons:1) I really love and align with the company\'s mission and values. It\'s important to me to work in a company where I feel we\'re making a difference.2) The culture. The company is not only \'member-obsessed\' and focusing relentlessly on the member, but its equally \'employee-obsessed\' and focused on making sure its employees are well taken care of (it not only speaks to employee health and wellness, but demonstrates it through actions).
