As a Researcher at Chapin Hall, I lead community-engaged studies that advance solutions to community violence and drive transformation within the juvenile justice system. My work is grounded in deep partnerships with youth, families, and community stakeholders, ensuring that those closest to the issues help shape the policies and systems meant to serve them. I specialize in participatory methods that elevate lived experience and translate qualitative insights into actionable change. In addition to my systems change work, I am a nationally recognized fatherhood researcher, exploring how institutions can better affirm and support Black fathers as vital partners in family and community well-being.
