ABOUT CLINT HANAWAY

I’m a Creative Technologist working on studio-scale media and production systems, with a focus on applying AI and cloud technologies in practical, secure ways. I spend most of my time thinking about how creative work actually gets made and how technology can remove friction without getting in the way.My background is in filmmaking, digital imaging, and post-production. Over the years, that has turned into building and evolving workflows for high-volume, high-security environments, and translating new tools into systems that real creative teams can use every day. I’m most interested in work that sits close to production and holds up under real-world pressure.I work closely with creative, technical, and operational teams, often acting as a bridge between disciplines. Because I’m embedded in the day-to-day realities of production, I tend to see shifts in tools and workflows early, and I focus on helping teams adapt before those changes become unavoidable. A lot of my attention right now is on how AI-enabled tools and cloud platforms can be adopted responsibly, in ways that respect creative intent and the realities of studio production.Outside of work, I keep myself grounded by making things with my hands. I build custom motorcycles, write and publish cocktail books, and follow projects through from rough idea to finished object. That process of making, breaking, and refining things is where a lot of my thinking about creative systems really comes from.
