About Clint Cook

Professionally I\'ve worked on embedded 8 and 16 bit embedded systems, designing and developing both the hardware and firmware, since 1996. I\'ve worked on systems used in industrial control to DNA analysis systems, down-hole tools for the oil and gas industry, and home automation using Bluetooth LE.Proficient with Nordic Semiconductors nRF series (ARM Based) of Bluetooth SOCs, and Nordic\'s Bluetooth stack. I have used PICs, AVRs and TI\'s MSP430 controllers in multiple designs.Most of my work has been a \"bare-metal\" designs. Starting with the schematic capture and PCB layout, to low level configuration and drivers of the micro-controller\'s peripherals: ADC, PWM, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO. Continuing to the upper level firmware to complete the system.I have experience with Altium, DipTrace, Pads, OrCAD, PCad PCB design tools. I have used Keil, Segger Embedded studio, and various other vendor specific IDE\'s. I have used Micrsoft\'s Office throughout my career. I have limited experience with 3D modelling in Fusion 360
