Responsible for technical direction of project Victoria, managing engineering teams between 4 to 12 developers and leads throughout the entire project lifecycle- Responsible for building a centralized online services team shared across 4 projects at PCF, including hiring of directors, leads, and engineers during the first two years of the project- Involved in hand on development during the initial pre-conceptions phases of the project, building out the core game flow, game servers, integrating online features (session, matchmaking)- Setup initial multiplayer design and implementation in the project- Setup and integrated the server and fleet pipelines for production and development, enabling full local gameloop testing from any game version, on any developers system- Designed and implemented backend services for Party, Matchmaking, Fleet management and service allocation, region selection for both PC, and XBox platforms- Highly involved in the setup of Tech Art pipelines, establishing budgets and metrics for tech art and art teams, and some work on building out the terrain materials and features, foliage materials and features with a strong push towards client performance- Highly involved in profiling and optimizing server performance to reduce costs, achieving 5 game servers per processor core. Including work in setup and tuning of World Partition, physics setup for player navigation, interaction and combat in the environment- Goal oriented and experienced with risk management with ambitious objectives- Project based on Unreal 5 targetting PC, SteamDeck and Consoles
