As a member of the Inbound team my role primarily involves.• Being Support Partner, senior partner responsible for supervising/overseeing the operational aspects of Decant and supporting management in their daily running of the area.• Lead Partner in Small Items Receiving (SIR’s), being wholly responsible for running the team processing high value items coming into the warehouse.• Also as necessary, fulfilling a number of roles within the Small Items area, including receiving, put away and picking. Regularly taking the lead role in the Small Items Picking (SIP’s) over peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas and Clearance), including the shift with the highest recorded volume for this area.• Assisting and performing aspects of the Stock Partner role during peak periods.• Using dedicated software to process daily stock delivered into the warehouse.• Other Inbound area activities include, the tipping of lorries for goods coming into the warehouse and using hand held software to receive these goods into the Warehouse Management System.• Also trained across functions, allowing me to work in D2C (Direct to Customer) and IT (Internal Transport) operating a VNA fork lift truck.
