ABOUT CLIFF MCCOLLUM

I love working at the interface between domains. I am most interested in that unique place where business-processes and software-development meet. As a veteran engineering manager and system-architect, I find it particularly exciting when these two worlds come together and click. That\'s when magic happens.I have many years of professional experience as a System Architect, Software Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Engineering Director. I currently work as a Software Engineering Manager with Meta Reality Labs working remote from Vancouver, Canada.I have personal experience designing, writing, and managing dozens of large and small software projects, including the successful launch of multiple 1.0 software products. I have nine years experience building Amazon-scale systems using AWS, including four years experience building and deploying Machine Learning into Amazon production, four years experience developing Enterprise software for the Life-Sciences industry, and eight years experience creating large distributed-computing systems for the Telecommunications industry.I am a passionate person who cares about technology.
