This role is a key member of the Hamilton Paramedic Service senior leadership team with responsibility to provide Business Administration, budget oversight, Logistics and Support Services, along with operational support activities for a large urban emergency service that performs more than responses per year. The Deputy Chief/ Executive Manager provides close support to the Director and works collaboratively with City senior leaders, The Role Monitors, analyzes and evaluates the divisions performance, including oversight and development of key performance indicators, advanced analytics, business intelligence roadmaps across the service area, ensuring legal obligations and operational requirements are met. The role provides recommendations and prepares briefing notes, Council Reports on new / updated policies, procedures, new initiatives and service agreements for the Director and General Manager for the division and department. The Executive Manager closely liaisons with a variety of City of Hamilton corporate functions / departments to support the operational needs of the Program. This role is responsible for providing project management oversight for key divisional goals.
