ABOUT AILTON SANTANA

I am a Technical Product Manager with expertise in Telco, Product Management, Troubleshooting, Linux, and Training. In my current role at Sandvine, I am responsible for end-to-end product strategy, from conception to end-of-life cycle. My main focus is on Policy and Charging Control (PCC) products, including PCRF/Quota Manager and control-plane functionalities. I work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that expand our current product offerings. As a Solutions Architect, I delivered 15 projects providing specific solution/technology/product consulting, technical, and sales support for major account opportunities. I have extensive experience in projects designed for DPI use in Online Charging, Policy Enforcement, UDR generation, Subscriber Mapping, Quota Manager, and PCRF solutions targeted to VoLTE services. I guided and assisted account teams in building solutions to address specific customer needs and provided knowledge transfer to team members. As a Manager of Level 2 Support, I managed and was part of a team of Engineers that handled trouble tickets escalated by Level 1 support teams for issues from customers worldwide. I facilitated customer resolution for escalated calls, engaged necessary technical support, and improved productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes. My passion is for real-time metering of data traffic for prepaid charging use cases and providing Subscriber Services with Sandvine, which helps address the declining trend of average revenue per user (ARPU) in the industry. With over 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, I am a results-driven Technical Product Manager. My ability to identify market problems and develop solutions, combined with my technical expertise, has allowed me to successfully lead cross-functional teams and deliver quality products to customers. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow my skill set while contributing to the success of the organization.
