Responsible for leading work to define appropriate targets, ensuring compatibility with SOI, customer expectations and business compliance targets. Generation of concepts and system proposals, in conjunction with cross function teams, that deliver the required performance. Leading assessments through appropriate virtual tools and early vehicle assessments. Working with available CAE resources or undertaking CAE or vehicle based tests where required. Working with strategy teams, COCs and the attribute leads,(Powertrain, Electrical, Chassis, weight, aero), ensure programs contain the correct content and features to deliver against these vehicle level and system level targets. Lead and deliver the PED DVP to ensure that program content and supporting attribute status deliver against the PED targets set. Lead cross functional issue resolution, to resolve technical incompatibilities where system content or vehicle attribute status does not support the delivery of PED requirements or targets. Single point of contact for projects, reporting the status to peers, VE and Company Senior management as the project progresses through its delivery milestones.
