ABOUT CLEMENT CERVETTI
After transitioning from a promising professional water polo career at the age of 18 to focus on my studies, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from HEC Montreal in 2017. Recognizing the growing importance of data in shaping business strategies, I decided to pivot towards a field that integrates my skills in marketing, business, mathematics, and computer science: data science.I pursued a Master’s degree in Business Intelligence at HEC Montreal, where I sought to bridge theory with practice. My journey into the world of data began at Gsoft, where I started as a Data Scientist in 2017, mentored by the great Olivier Blais at Gsoft, and Denis Larocque at the university. My academic background in business, complemented by a technically-focused Master’s degree, has not only honed my adaptability, autonomy, and self-learning capabilities but has also provided me with hands-on experience that closely aligns with real-world business needs.Who Am I?Combining my experience in high-level sports with a multicultural education and extensive travel (44+ countries), and a always cheerful behavior, I bring a unique set of resources and adaptability to any team. My time in Canada not only expanded my technical expertise but also deepened my empathy, making me a more compassionate and warm colleague, without losing my competitive (in a positive way) edge. Competing in major events like the European Cup and working in the field of Data Science have instilled in me values of responsibility, organization, and rational thinking (in all circumstances).After six rewarding years in Montreal, where I earned two degrees (Bachelor’s and Master’s), developed two years of Data Science experience, climbed a summit in Bolivia, and significantly enhanced my open-mindedness and emotional intelligence, I decided to return to France. I joined Heetch with great enthusiasm, a French competitor to Uber. In this 2 years + experience, during the tough Covid crisis, I managed to save the company a lot of money by developing and improving Driver Bad Behavior detection. Ultimately saving hundreds of thousands € in Cancellation Fees. As I wanted to have a bigger impact on society with the AI wave, I figured I had to help Data Science development in Web 3, to help for the economy decentralization. This led me to figment, where I helped the company optimize and monitor processes, and save costs, through the Crypto Winter.
