ABOUT CLAYTON KERCH

In July 2020 I received my start in athletics as I became a student manager for the Marshalltown Community College Men’s Basketball Team. During this time I worked alongside athletes assisting them in drills during practice, running the scoreboard for practice, handling team laundry, overseeing post/pre-game meals, and traveling with the team to assist with game statistics. It was in my second year that I became an Event Coordinator. During this time I worked all winter events, and all spring events. My responsibilities included: PA announcing, stat keeping, bat testing, assisting officials, and marketing projects.Today, I am currently a Sports and Recreation major at the University of Iowa who is an intern at the Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, IA. I also am serving on the Hawks Nest Leadership Board as the Vice President of student section operations. This team assists with student activities that involve the best student section in America also known as,\"The Hawks Nest\".I am a determined and personable individual who is aiming to join the promotions side of the sports world in the realms of sales and marketing.
