About Clayton K.
Mission-focused. Team Builder. Solutions-based leader. Diverse professional background, focused on service delivery and disaster operations for the American Red Cross. I joined BAH from after a decade with the American Red Cross. In that time I held several positions in the field and National HQ where I was the Senior Director, Situational Awareness & Decision Support in Disaster Operations. In this capacity, I led a dynamic team that developed operational tools and analytic frameworks to support critical disaster operations decision-making. Throughout my tenure with the Red Cross, I served in key leadership positions on many disaster operations to include the Boston Marathon Bombing, Hurricanes Irene & Lee, Hurricane Isaac and Super Storm Sandy. I hold two Masters Degrees, one in Public Policy and the other in History, from Rockefeller College at the State University of New York at Albany, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida. I am also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy-Reserve and I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
