About Clayton Fox
I am an associate mechanical engineer and project manager that manages a team of mechanical engineers with a focus on major capital projects for power generating stations and related facilities. I have performed various feasibility studies for the implementation of power plant equipment including induced draft fans, pumps, compressors, fly ash handling systems, cooling water systems, SCR systems, ammonia systems, air quality control systems, etc. I have performed the system design of various balance of plant systems including, but not limited to, main steam, reheat, LP steam, compressed air, process water, drains, ammonia, slurry, etc. I have prepared equipment and construction specifications for several contracts ranging from mechanical construction to major equipment associated with air pollution control, water treatment, and combined cycle projects. I have served contract engineering duties for both equipment and construction ranging from major power island equipment to general construction contracts. I have discipline-lead experience ranging from large-scale EPC projects to more focused study efforts. I have extensive field experience serving as the Lead Field Engineer for a major AQCS and plant efficiency improvement project. My general duties include serving as a project lead; overseeing and preparing equipment, construction specifications, and feasibility studies; overseeing and designing mechanical systems, and serving as a subject matter resource.
