At Fredward, I successfully led strategic projects within the Prudential Inbound Change team at Lloyds Banking Group, ensuring efficient delivery of new upstream projects and regulatory changes. I redefined engagement models and optimized ways of working to improve efficiency and reduce friction in the delivery process. I successfully delivered critical changes related to RWA optimisation and the strategic Debt Manager upgrade for the unsecured portfolio. Transitioning to a Product Owner role in Embedded Finance, I oversee the delivery of data requirements for various core banking channels and established strong governance practices for data(operational, finance and prudential), systems(Infrastructure, connectivity), and technology(web, Open Banking), ensuring alignment with architectural standards. I currently oversee a mid-sized team made up of Project Managers, Solutions Architects and Python developers. We serve as the enablement function for the broader Embedded Finance delivery function which, once complete, will ensure that all impacted downstream areas of the bank will have what they need from a data and tooling perspective to allow for the successful running and monitoring of this new product.
