   For two decades I have guided corporate clients and individuals in a wide array of complex litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts throughout the nation. For instance, I have litigated ERISA and state law causes of action in New York courts, tried cases and argued appeals throughout the South, and litigated and appealed intellectual property claims in California.My work has not just benefitted my clients; it has also resulted in influential trial and appellate opinions, many of which benefit the industries in which my clients operate. I recently served as lead counsel in a litigation and appeal defeating the state law claims filed by more than 100 plaintiffs from Arkansas against a Fortune 500 company that not only resulted in my client prevailing, but also rolled-back and limited pre-existing adverse legal precedent from the Supreme Court of Arkansas involving my client\'s industry. Additionally, I served as lead counsel and argued an appeal before the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, sitting en banc, that resulted in an opinion benefitting my client and that was later recognized by another federal appeals court as a \"tidal wave\" opinion that cemented the law protecting a major segment of the agribusiness industry.I specialize in appeals, business litigation, class and mass actions, complex tort litigation and trial work. I have litigated, tried and appealed cases involving contract disputes, business torts, RICO, ERISA, employment law, trade secrets, deceptive trade practices, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, Packers and Stockyards Act and wrongful death.
