In Summer of 2024, DRCOG was awarded a historic $200M from the EPA\'s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant from 20••••30. The Program \"Decarbonize DRCOG\" aims to electrify the Denver Region (and beyond) through a market transformation of how we heat and cool our buildings and homes (the #1 contributor to GHG Emissions in CO). As the Program Manager of Workforce & Industry Development, I am designing and contracting out five Workforce Development Programs to ensure that economic opportunities from this grant make their way to those who have been underserved and lack representation in the Heat Pump Industry.
