I returned to school, during August 2014, to learn the art of mechanical watchmaking (Horology) and repair. A serendipitous purchase of a 1936 Gruen Curvex, from a retiring jeweler in Jasper, Texas, in 1989, began my fascination, with antique timepieces. During the past 25 years, I have been intrigued with the idea of learning all I can about the luxury timepiece, an industry once dominated by American craftsman. During the mid-point of 2014, I was faced with a career change, that allowed me the time to indulge a long delayed plan, to attend school, and gain some expertise, in one of my many passions.
