Monitor and maintain the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems to ensure 24/7 availability to Lower 48 personnel. This includes system availability, system accuracy, system backups, security, disaster recovery, database modifications, server and application software upgrades •Design and implement solutions to support current year Lower 48 development plans •Work closely with multi-disciplined teams to define FDM requirements for projects and provide needed assistance in the development of AFE’s •Provide daily technical trouble shooting support for personnel when issues arise with the SCADA system, data transfer interfaces and the relational databases •Provide technical support in the specification of hardware and software with regards to electronic gathering and storing of operational data. •Maintain industry networks and contacts to identify new opportunities to improve the processes associated with data collection, storage and retrieval •Provide guidance in the design and development of FDM applications. •Provide support to project teams, engineering and operations to ensure new applications are tested, documentation and training is completed before rolling out to users •Work with Systems Analyst, operations, engineering and project groups to ensure documentation is accurate and updated •Work with Systems Analyst to provide FDM application training to end users •Cross-train with other FDM System Administrators •Weekly callout rotation
