Started with 8 months rotating to drilling rigs/frac sites/production facilities to learn about operations. I was assigned and developed projects that help optimize the operations.After doing rotations to the field, I spent time working shifts in MaxCom, which is our real-time operations support center. I provided operational support to 10 drilling rigs in the Delaware Basin (SE New Mexico and West Texas)Support included- Cement calculations - Casing Design - BHA design and parameter optimization - Assisted in GeosteeringAssisted in the permitting and planning stages for new wells by- Creating directional well plans with Landmark Compass - Develop wellbore schematics and Day vs. Depth curves - Select bits, mud motors, mud weights, etc- Calculate cement volumes - Write drilling programs - Develop Torque & Drag models for extended reach lateral (3+ miles) and U-turn wells using Landmark WellPlan
