About Clay Cornwell

I worked as a framer, concrete mason and installer to get through college on my way to my architecture degree. During the slowdown in 2001 - I found myself in the construction industry and never looked back. Field assigned as a project engineer and project manager for 8 years, I worked on remodels, deferred maintenance and ground up builds, dealing with the day-to-day management of RFIs, pay applications, change orders, field issues and coordination with the architect, owner, and subs. In 2010 I began doing construction management work as owner representative, QA, and pure construction manager for federal and military clients. I am now anxious to return to the builders role and work on some interesting projects.
