In the second-half of 2023, I joined Ryan Whaley as Of Counsel to apply my oil & gas transactional and litigation experience from the years I served as General Counsel with three different private-equity backed oil and gas companies, in order to help Ryan Whaley clients in various disputes inside and outside of the courtroom, concerning the following practice areas, among others- M&A and asset acquisitions and divestitures- Carbon capture utilization and sequestration (CCUS) commercial agreements and joint venture agreements- Joint operating agreements, joint development agreements, JV agreements, partnership agreements, AMIs, farmout agreements, operating agreements, and DrillCos- Debt and equity financings- Master service agreements, equipment purchases and leases, and other drilling and service contractor agreements- Midstream gathering, transportation, storage and processing agreements, and salt water disposal; and- Various other litigation and transactional matters concerning an oil & gas company client’s corporate governance, financing, A&D, technology, unfair competition, trade secret theft, etc.
