Partnering with the Information Security, Procurement and IT teams and advising stakeholders and internal clients on the management of commercial, legal, privacy and data protection aspects of contemplated and existing projects, technologies and products, commercial transactions and initiatives, and the assessment and management of suppliers and the corresponding agreements. Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and related documents to support business needs and initiatives (e.g. software as a service (SaaS) agreements, master services agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, engagement terms, panel terms, outside counsel terms). Advising on and managing privacy impact assessments, data protection impact assessments, data incidents and data subject access requests. Managing privacy audits of the firm’s international offices, and client audits. Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, trends and best practice relating to privacy, data protection and information security, and implementing the corresponding changes to the firm’s agreements, practices, policies and processes.
