ABOUT CLAUDIO ROCHA

With extensive experience in language teaching, assessment, and materials development, I’ve worn many hats: teacher, trainer, materials writer, development editor, and speaking examiner. I’ve had the privilege of contributing as an author and editor to a range of educational projects across bilingual and international contexts. In 2024, Infinity, a course I co-authored, was nominated as a finalist for the ELTons Excellence in Course Innovation award and received a Special Commendation for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. I\'m especially interested in how visuals and curated content can enrich learning, along with emerging trends reshaping education, such as generative AI and the evolving landscape of digital and media competencies. This is a growing area of focus for me, and I\'m proud to be a member of the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance. Let’s keep the conversation going around education and innovation.
