Claudia Oliveira is the Director of Growth and Development for NOW Art, a leading public art agency in Los Angeles. She began as the producer of LUMINEX LA, the acclaimed digital art and technology exhibition, and soon transitioned into a leadership role focused on strategic expansion and partnerships.She also serves as CEO of the DTLA Chamber of Commerce and is a former President of the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council, where she advances economic opportunity and civic participation. Her initiatives include hosting large-scale job fairs in Skid Row—connecting over 400 attendees with 40+ employers—and launching the first Downtown LA Small Business Symposium, focused on city contracting, licensing, micro-loans, and safety.Claudia played a pivotal role in the passage of Senator Maria Elena Durazo’s Inclusionary Act by testifying before the Assembly Judiciary Committee in 2019. The law allows immigrants, regardless of status, to serve on public boards and commissions.She is a Coro Fellow, Concordia LLC Roundtable alumna, BizFed Executive Committee member, and a member of UCLA’s Los Angeles Community Engagement Council.
