As General Counsel & Company Secretary for Pairpoint since its inception, my role has gone from guiding the company through its growth phase as a start-up (prioritising all aspects of legal strategy, governance, risk and compliance, setting up commercial legal infrastructure) to leading Pairpoint through its commercial phase of customer and product delivery (negotiating, securing and managing contracts with customers and partners, supporting delivery and growth, expanding and managing our global infrastructure, securing further investment, and managing the ever expanding IP portfolio).I am part of the leadership team of Pairpoint with full engagement on strategy and company performance, and I have a role on the board. I am also managing the growth and fulfilment of our people across UK, Portugal and Japan, with the company HR function reporting to me. The world is moving towards more autonomous transactions between connected devices, systems, people, payments and services ecosystem around them. Pairpoint\'s flagship platform, delivers secure, fast and low-friction transactions. We are building the new global transaction middleware driving the next wave of economy growth.Pairpoint is based in the United Kingdom, with offices in London, Lisbon and Tokyo. We are a well-funded company with investment from Sumitomo Group and Vodafone Group. We pursue our plan, fulfil our mission and assume our role in the evolution of the Economy of Things (EoT).
