About Claudia Drace

I am a current Juris Doctor candidate at University of Wisconsin Law School. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2019 from The University of Arizona\'s Honors College. May 2019 is an early graduation date for me. I received 29 credits from the International Baccalaureate programme in high school, so I was able to complete my double major in law and political science and minor in Spanish in three years. The BA in Law program at The University of Arizona is the first and only undergraduate law program accredited by the American Bar Association. After graduating from University of Arizona, I moved to Washington, D.C. for two years where I worked at No Labels, a political non-profit that works on promoting bipartisanship in Congress. I was a digital coordinator at No Labels where I managed and produced content for our millions of social media followers.I am always seeking to challenge myself intellectually and physically. I was heavily involved in undergraduate mock trial and women\'s rugby during my time at The University of Arizona. I was drawn to both activities because they offered a competitive outlet in team-driven environments. I was able to have leadership positions in both extra curricular activities as well. I was the captain and match secretary of the rugby team, and captain and social media chair for mock trial.Outside of coursework and extracurricular activities, I worked as a legal assistant for a private criminal defense attorney in Tucson during the school year. In the summer of 2018 I was selected to be the Arizona representative for the Henry Clay Center for Statesmanship College Student Congress. After the student congress, I went to Guatemala for the rest of the summer where I interned at a historical archive. I was an intern at Thin Air Podcast, in Boise, Idaho the summer before, in 2017. In my free time I like to go hiking, hang out at coffee shops, and go to local events in my community.
