ABOUT CLAUDIA CARTER

I am SO happy you’re here!I strategically connect every missing link between the wheat farmer and the consumer—always with the well-being of both at heart. At the core of my work: Value. Health. Nutrition. My perspective on wheat for the future is rooted in a food systems approach shaped by my training in nutrition education. Although nutrition, food, and agriculture are often taught separately, I believe that nutrition education theories provide the critical framework for integrating them. These theories guide the development of systems that ensure farmers continue growing wheat, feeding millions, and producing healthier wheat-based products.Originally from Manta, Ecuador, I now call Sacramento, California home.I’m a passionate, hardworking, and curious person who thrives on observation and reflection. I take note of my surroundings, analyze situations, and spark conversations with fresh ideas. Positive energy is my default setting—there are no strangers in my world, only opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.Whether leading or supporting, I believe collaboration is the key to lasting success. The future belongs to teams who share knowledge freely, learn from one another, and celebrate the wins together.Listening matters. So does mutual respect. I believe we all need mentors—and that we all can be mentors. Knowledge isn’t meant to be kept as a secret; it’s meant to be shared so others can succeed. Because when others succeed, we all succeed.Health and nutrition are central to my mission. I work with local schools to inspire children through hands-on learning about growing wheat, processing it, and creating products with 100% whole grains. Using school gardens as living classrooms, we teach agriculture and healthy eating habits in ways that stick for life.My guiding principle: Build communities rooted in local food systems.Talking about regenerative wheat principles for a long time now. if you want to know. Ask me. If you ask me a question I can’t answer, chances are I know someone who can. That’s the power of nurturing a network of mentors, industry friends, and brilliant minds.Wheat is Life! Reflections:If I’ve made someone smile today, I’ve lived well.**CliftonStrengths:** Woo | Includer | Activator | Learner | Positivity
