About Claudia Alvarez Valencia
I am a Peruvian attorney with dual heritage and a clear vision: to use law and technology to expand access to justice. My journey in immigration law taught me that a lawyer can change destinies.Today, I am enriching that experience by focusing on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and intellectual property to build innovative and human-centered legal solutions.I hold an LL.M. in U.S. Law Law from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and am currently pursuing my second LL.M. in International Legal Studies at American University Washington College of Law (Washington, DC), as part of my preparation for the DC Bar.Working with clients from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East showed me how language, culture, and legal complexity can define the course of a life. These experiences strengthened my commitment to empathy, resilience, and professional ethics.I am now focusing on the role of AI, cybersecurity, and IP law as tools to: • 🤖 break down linguistic and cultural barriers, • safeguard sensitive data and identities, and • expand access to justice with ethical, human-centered solutions.Beyond law, I develop marketing strategies and digital content as a micro-influencer with a community of 28K+ followers, combining creativity with community engagement. During the pandemic, I founded a socially driven initiative in Peru to promote responsible pet rabbit ownership. Through this project, I collaborate with clubs, shelters, and organizations to support animal welfare and raise awareness within my community.I believe the future of law lies at the intersection of human dignity and technological innovation, and I am committed to being an active part of that transformation.Let’s connect!
