Ms. Gonzalez holds more than 20 years of experience in structural design and geotechnical and technical supervision / inspection in large civil, mining and energy infrastructure projects. She has worked with various Canadian mine operations, gaining expertise in the following sectors: laboratory testing of rock, in situ stress measurements, the application of hydrofracture technology to stress management in ultra-deep mining, pillar loading in caving operations (using critical state models), dynamic test facility design for rock bolts, and dynamic rock support design, slope stability, open pit design, underground mine geotech design.
