ABOUT CLAUDIA NMAI
I am an alumna of Stanford University with a B.A.H in Sociology and a minor in African and African American Studies. During my time at Stanford, I spent much of my time interrogating the role that the criminal-legal system plays in shaping the everyday live of marginalized communities. As a research assistant within the Sociology Department and through my honors thesis, I have engaged in a plethora of qualitative and qualitative research tasks. As an aspiring academic, I am committed to deeply analyzing and offering solutions to some of the most pressing issues that face racially and economically marginalized communities today.
