Within our team at Streets Chartered Accountants we aim to work with you to help create efficiencies, increase profit and plan for tax savings amongst other services. Below I\'ve included some examples of work we have performed with our clients to help show what\'s possible. Efficiencies - Staff cost savings:We completed a review of a client’s bookkeeping system & procedures & instantly saw a huge saving to be had. Following the review we implemented a new accounting software, created a new structure that provides better reporting detail, converted data, created various automation\'s, created a link with their bespoke package used for the trade which didn\'t exist previously and followed this up with training. When we started the project there were 3 staff members required in the accounts department, when we finished, only 1 staff member was required and today, still only 1 member runs the accounts department and they now have additional companies to manage too. Increased Profit - Management AccountsWe prepare regular management accounts for various clients and dig further with departmental or even truck specific reporting for example. Following up by discussing findings and KPI\'s with clients can help see where you really make the profit to focus your energy as well as assisting to create model strategies to adapt. Tax Savings - Reduced corporation taxThere can be huge value in having regular meetings, for example by having quarterly meetings with one of our clients it allowed us to do some effective tax planning, saving a large sum in corporation tax. For one year corporation tax payable was over £53k then with the meetings and tax planning the following year corporation tax payable was less than £1k (98% saving), even though the profit had increased 26%.
