ABOUT CLAUDIA ARADAU
My research is situated at the intersection of international relations, critical security studies and international political sociology. I have written about security practices, their transformations and political effects on freedom and democracy. My latest book is \'Algorithmic Reason: The New Government of Self and Other\'(Oxford University Press, 2002). Between 2019 and 2025, I lead European Research Council Consolidator Grant \'Enacting border security in the digital age: Political worlds of data forms, flows and I am the Director of the newly established Methods Centre in the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy at King\'s College London.
