ABOUT CLAUDETTE CROTEAU

I am an educator who has worked overseas and I thrive in cross-cultural settings. I am seeking an education management position where I can combine my teaching, interpersonal, and reporting skills to an education management position. Collaboration and teamwork is one of my strongest assets and is prevalent in all aspects of my life. Effective communication has allowed me to foster positive student-staff relationships, and client relationships to resolve problems and propose solutions. Being organised, and using a lively sense of humour is always important to bring to the table. I thrive on learning new approaches and putting them to practice, and I continue to apply my leadership training in myprofessional and personal life. Professional Development activities keep me growing and challenging myself. I subscribe to the Life Long Learner Philosophy in my life which inspires me to embrace new challenges.Experiences in designing transformational travel, in International education, and in all teaching assignments have taught me flexibility in adapting to new countries, and environments and gain new cultural reference points, developing curriculum and multidisciplinary instruction and implementing technology in a wide range of levels. I am passionate about providing transformational travel opportunities for groups and for individuals who want to join our groups for meaningful travel. With Spices Tours, I have created experiential tours that provides the opportunity for individuals to connect closely to the people of the country they are visiting, which allows transformation in consciousness in becoming a global citizen! I seek to build bridges between cultures through these friendly connections and I have created transformational travel opportunities for students and adults in the following countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, France and Spain.
