About Claudel Larose

Chosen amongst the brightest students at UConn I co-led, managed, and assisted a team in constructing a $1.3 million portfolio for the UConn Student Managed Endowment Fund. My background experience comes from being a visionary, problem solver, and an agent for change. I use all the tools necessary, including but not limited to financial and technical expertise, to protect the assets and integrity of large enterprises. I like to assess an organization\'s process by gathering as much information as possible in order to interpret the current process in place, see where I can add value, bring that thought to life with quantifiable data. More over, I created a four-pronged approach that starts with gathering information through research and asking the appropriate questions, hypothesizing the potential risks or causation, using a process of elimination to test the hypotheses against identified isolated outcomes, and executing sound decisions based on said outcomes. In an effort to become a more well-rounded and marketable candidate, my motto is to \"do other than you do\", which helps support the breakdown of my resume. While working in one area, I focus my studies elsewhere. I was awarded an undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Technology. I went on to earn my MBA with a concentration in finance which covered business information a mile wide and inch deep. Eager and fortunate enough to continue my education, I completed a more investment focused Master of Science degree in Financial Risk Management with a concentration in quantitative methods, covering business material an inch wide and mile deep, all from the UConn School of Business Administration. I accepted an offer to join the Equity Derivatives team as an Advanced Execution Services Algo Options Sales/Coverage Associate at Credit Suisse and now hold the Series 7, 63, & 57 securities professional licenses! I am grateful to those who support me, believe in me, and to the ones who provide me such amazing opportunities. An investment in me will pay dividends for years to come.
