WORK HISTORY
Director, Office of Government Grants Administration @Sinai Chicago
Director, Office of Government Grants Administration. Developing a comprehensive government grant development and administrative program to expand the current $30+M portfolio. Responsibilities have expanded to include creation of a Research Trials Office to expand access to pharma and government-sponsored studies, enhance GME faculty and resident participation in trial opportunities, and create a new, significant, and sustainable revenue stream. Formerly, Director, Grants and Strategy. Worked with multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary colleagues to develop responses to health reform including bundled payments, creation of a managed care community network, network participation in the County Care Medicaid Waiver, and funding for In-Person Counseling and Navigation to advance the Get Covered Illinois Marketplace. I have led and supported government and foundation funding for the health system including over 200 awarded grants; and have led development of five awarded demonstration projects over 14 years. Grants at Sinai have produced over $180 million in System net income since 2001. I also wrote successful Sinai award proposals to the NAPH, Premier Inc, and AHA for a Nova award. See the attached CV for greater detail.
