ABOUT CLAUDE KUMAR

Hello, Claude here! I am currently an MSc Psychology student with a strong interest in research, Gender Psychology and Disability advocacy.I am particularly passionate about exploring how systems of inequality impact lived experiences- and how research can drive meaningful, structural change. Whether it\'s through contributing to academic projects, amplifying student voices, or organising events that foster inclusion, I’m motivated by work that pushes for accessibility, equity, and visibility for marginalised groups.So far, I’ve had the opportunity to- Work as a Research Assistant, developing skills in data analysis and research design using tools like SPSS, R, and Qualtrics- Lead as a Senior Course Representative, Society President, and student campaigner, amplifying student feedback, spearheading tangible change and fostering community- Support student experience through roles in engagement, admin, and events- from coordinating Welcome Week, facilitating co-design panels to helping shape graduation ceremonies.I bring strong organisation, communication, and time-management skills to every role- but more importantly, I bring curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to continuous learning. I thrive in spaces that value collaboration, advocacy, and critical thinking, especially those working toward greater inclusion and justice in higher education and beyond. My long-term goal is to pursue a research career in psychology, with a focus on combining research with activism to promote access, awareness and representation:)
