ABOUT CLARK PABST

I am a Sophomore studying Accounting looking for a summer internship for the summer of 2025. I am still working towards finding what I want to do within business and am open to various types of work and any opportunity to gain experience. As a student athlete at Miami, I have continued to develop my time management and communication skills. In addition to the intrapersonal skills that I continue to develop, I have enhanced my proficiency in applications such as Excel, SQL, Python, Word, Javascript and JMP. Participating in Miami’s client challenge gave me the opportunity to develop a real business solution for a client. The process of creating a professional presentation allowed me to further develop my teamwork, collaboration, analysis and public speaking skills, which I continue to use throughout my time at Miami. Before I came to Miami, I worked as a lifeguard at a local public swimming pool, which would later give me the opportunity to become an assistant manager during the summer of 2024. I aided in overseeing a staff of 50+, conducting training exercises, maintaining everyday operations, and sustaining a full working schedule for the entire staff. Through this experience I further strengthened the skills I had developed in my first year at Miami, in particular communication and collaboration. My three summers working at Upper Arlington Pools have been an invaluable experience and allowed me to develop strong relationships with my coworkers that have continued past our time working together. As I look to the future of my time at Miami, I am excited to continue to grow as a professional and student through new classes, communities, and challenges. I look forward to the opportunity to further develop my professional skills through the chance to pursue an internship for the summer of 2025.
