An entrepreneurial millennial living in New York City with over a decade of experience working in book publishing.I\'m passionate about supporting and promoting stories and the voices behind them, especially those told by marginalized people and communities. I\'m a writer, mostly poetry and fiction at the moment, but also creative nonfiction. I\'m a bookworm but also love binge watching TV shows and movies because really, I’m just all about a good story, no matter the medium. From pre-school through high school, I attended an all-girls school. Through my experiences there, I learned that regardless of what we\'re told, girls and women are perfectly capable of being successful and happy on their own, but that few things are more powerful than being a part of a supportive community, no matter the size.
