About Clarissa Hamlin
I am a certified English teacher for grades 7-12 in New York; I earned a master\'s degree in English Education from CUNY Lehman College. I feel that one of my life missions and ministries is to teach children as well as show love, joy, empathy and give wisdom to them. Additionally, I am a freelance writer with ten years of professional experience. Writing is a healing art and form of expression; it is a beautiful way to tell a story, inspire others and advocate for important social causes. As a former journalist, I have used my writing to spread awareness and push for solutions to several social issues.
